Vaccinations / Registering with Foreign Affairs

What about vaccinations?
Conditions can be very different in other countries. Standards of hygiene may be lower, and food and water supplies may be contaminated. This can leave travelers at higher risks for disease, and can turn your trip into an unpleasant experience - or worse. We strongly recommend making an appointment with your family doctors or with the WRHA Travel Health Clinic. A bit of advance planning will help keep you healthy and your trip worry free.

Register your travel with Foreign Affairs

Foreign affairs offers a registration service for all Canadians traveling abroad. This service is provided so that the government officials can contact you to assist with an emergency in a foreign country, such as a natural disaster or civil unrest, or inform you of a family emergency at home. Please visit http://www.voyage.gc.ca/main/sos/rocapage-en.asp to register.
